Klonopin
Klonopin (clonazepam) is a prescription medication that has been specially designed for people suffering from health problems related to imbalance of chemicals in the brain, such as panic disorder, seizure disorder and anxiety. Any health conditions you have are supposed to be reported to your health care provider, as they can affect the success of your treatment. Make sure you mention any of the following health conditions: glaucoma, kidney or liver disease, suicidal thoughts, breathing problems, a history of depression, a history of drug or alcohol addiction, and any other ones you think may be important. Klonopin has been reported to increase the effects of alcohol, so drinking alcoholic beverages during the treatment is not recommended. This medicine is FDA pregnancy category D. This category is used for drugs that have been reported to cause severe consequences for unborn and newborn babies such as breathing and feeding problems. You need to avoid getting pregnant while taking this medication, but if you happen to get pregnant – make sure you keep taking Klonopin and consult your doctor. This has to do with the fact stopping the treatment may bring back seizures (if you are taking it for this condition), which may be harmful for both the mother and the baby.
